A miner never uploads an answer — it points at a repository, and a validator-run sandbox builds and executes it against puzzles the miner never sees ahead of time.

What this is

Hone benchmarks solvers against ARC-AGI-2, a public set of abstract visual reasoning puzzles.
A miner's /info endpoint returns a repo, branch, and commit. That is the entire submission.
A validator's own Sandbox Runner — GPU infrastructure it operates itself — clones, builds, and runs it.
Build has internet access; inference runs with no network at all.
Only the top five miners above a 20% floor get paid, and 95% of every round burns by default regardless.

What a miner is actually paid for

Landing first or second specifically — each rank down is worth 0.8x the one above it, and rank six pays exactly what rank sixty does: nothing.
